For starters, we would like to think that we are a very cheerful and sociable couple. We have been married for 45 years and have raised, 2 sons. We have pretty much simplified our way of life; thus, we do not celebrate birthdays, or holidays, or involve ourselves in politics, yet we live a full and exciting life. We are a husband-and-wife team who also live on the property which is located in a quiet, safe, well-maintained, and cheerful neighborhood in the heart of the Tacoma Central District, nestled between the town of Fircrest and the Proctor District. The 2nd-floor room shares the same entrance as the main residence, other than that; it is an ultra-private and quiet unit. Utilities are included in the rent. Since accidents happen, a refundable $200.00 Damage Deposit is required, and there is an $400 monthly surcharge for an additional person. . This price includes the cost of utilities. Also included in the price of the room, you will have access to food in the refrigerator or kitchen cupboards for you to fix whatever you like to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and you're also welcome to any of the leftovers you see. We only ask that, for hygienic reasons, you refrain from eating your meals in your bedroom whenever possible. The upstairs area is fully furnished and includes a full-size bed, desk, dressers, armoire, and ample closet and storage space. The dwelling is equipped with ample lighting in both upstairs living areas and outside the home. The room also features a mini-fridge, toaster oven, microwave, satellite Smart TV, and dedicated HVAC heating and air conditioning. (Utilities included) You will have a semi-private bathroom with a shower located right at the bottom of the stairs. We also have an additional bathroom with a tub and shower which can be used at your convenience as well. PLEASE NOTE: Because of the exceptional accommodations being offered, we cannot allow smoking, chewing, vaping, or pets of any kind on the premises We are a strictly smoke-free (including vaping and marijuana) and pet-free home to maintain a comfortable environment for everyone. Due to the shared nature of the bathroom facilities, we are currently only accepting applications from female tenants. You are welcome to use the laundry room to wash your cloth and bedding and kitchen area to store food and prepare meals. Also, feel free to relax in the downstairs common areas. We are located in the Tacoma Central area. We are 1.5 miles from Highway 16 and 2 miles from the I-5 Freeway. Bus stops are everywhere, and almost everything else, Banks, Grocery Stores, Shops, Restaurants, Nature Center, and Rainiers' Ballpark, are within walking distance from our home. To keep our home comfortable for everyone, we require a background check and maintain a strictly non-smoking, no vaping, no chewing tobacco, no marijuana, no mushrooms, and no pets of any kind on the premises..
