My name is Marla. I live in Boston's Ashmont Hill with my son Clifford and we own a small lap-sized dog. We are proud to have been a host family for twenty seven years. We have hosted guests both domestic and international from more than thirty different countries including students attending English language schools and universities in the Boston. I own a Georgian Colonial home. We have plenty of space between our common areas, front ad back yard. In my home every guest has a private room (furnished with a desk and chair, bed table, dresser, private closet, bookshelves and a double or single sized bed). Strong wi-fi is available for everyone. The laundry facility is available to all but guest are expected to purchase their own laundry detergent. Continental breakfast is available to everyone and dinner is served family style seven days a week upon request at a nominal cost. Commuting is easy. I live only a short 3 – 5 minute walk from the MBTA Ashmont Station on the Red Line. Ashmont Station provides direct access to the entire transit system, the Commuter rail, Amtrack train lines and Logan Airport.
