My roommates and I currently rent a 3-bedroom unit located 7 minutes away from the UWS campus. We have lived here for the entire duration of the program, along with several generations of UWS students before us. We will soon be moving to complete our preceptorship at the end of June, and we wanted to share this housing opportunity with other students!

Here is a bit about the house:

- Rent is $2695 total plus an additional $40/person for water - this does not include utilities (gas, power, wifi) which is your responsibility but we would be happy to provide advice on what we used!

- The unit is the main floor of a tri-plex. Both upstairs and downstairs neighbours are very quiet!

- The unit has 3 bedrooms (1 with a shower and sink), 1 full bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room

- Communal basement storage available

- Large backyard with green space and a deck (all yard maintenance is completed by a company and included in rent)

- Lots of free parking available in front/side of the house

- The house is located in the Hollywood neighbourhood. We have always felt very safe walking/running/riding bikes in this area, and really love this area.

- Located within walking distance to Trader Joes, coffee shops and Rose city park, and a short drive to multiple grocery stores and the UWS campus.

Selling furniture:

- We are looking to sell our washer and dryer to those moving in if interested at a discounted price (laundry hookups are available in the basement).

- We have various dining room, living room and bedroom furniture, along with some household items we are looking to sell for a very low cost for those interested (this is what the previous students did for us and it was very helpful to have the place semi-furnished to avoid moving big pieces across the border/across states).

The place will be ready for July, but our landlord is happy to wait to fill the space in September/October to keep it in the UWS family.
