I am a 63 year old widow who lives in a two bedroom duplex in Harlem, NYC. The building is on a residential and relatively quiet street. My apartment looks like a town house with a front porch and courtyard view. I have an average size kitchen and a large living/ dining room. I have no pets and it is a smoke free home but smoking is allowed on the porch. The bedrooms are on the second floor and we would share the bathroom. Harlem is a great neighborhood for restaurants, music, and bargain shopping. I am close to public transporation and I also have a car. We could arrange to go on an excursion or two if you wish. I am a good cook and can offer some dinners for a pre negotiated price. I also like to entertain family and friends. I'm have had several interns/guests over the years, lovely ladies from Belgium, Japan, Brazil, Senegal, and Italy. One stayed in my home for three years as she established herself in NYC. I am looking forward to the opportunity to hosting another lovely lady from abroad. I can offer airport pick up for an additional cost. This is a nice size room for 1 person. It has a window that open out to the porch and a courtyard.
