Large Victorian house on the borders of historical town of Tavistock and the picturesque village of Whitchurch.
We have off-street parking and guests can have access to parts of our garden.
Within 45 minutes of both Devon and Cornish coastlines we are situated a few minutes walk from Whitchurch Down and the stunning scenery of Dartmoor National Park.
'The Blue Room', which sleeps two, is on the ground floor of the main house, with the shower and toilet on the lower ground floor.
The Blue Room has recently been decorated, has new carpet and large bay with double glazed sash windows with colonial style white shutters.
The double bed is very comfortable with a a cosy duvet and lots of pillows.
Towels provided. Wi-Fi available. Colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
(If you have a child, under 12 years old, travelling with you, we may be able to arrange an extra bed - if you ask at the time of booking. There will be a small charge to cover breakfast.)
Breakfast is served to you by us between 7.30am and 9am.
We are situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, 1 mile in either direction to the town of Tavistock and the local pub - The Whitchurch Inn!
We have two Cockapoos who are friendly and well behaved. They are not allowed upstairs - they reside on the lower ground floor and in the garden (you must always remember to close the garden gate!). Our two cats roam the house but are not allowed in any bedrooms.
We like a busy house and have hosted many guests and students from Hong Kong, China, France, Russia, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Spain, Italy and the UK over the past few years.
Working from home we can be on hand to help you whether you are looking for places to eat, visit or any other advice.
Our door is always open to respectful visitors! We hope to welcome you soon :)
