Whole unit

Around the world With red Afghan rugs, traditional African art and blue-and-white Chinese porcelain Centurion Building goes the distance to catch the eye. While the décor is collected from far-flung places, there's plenty near at hand. You're right by Battersea Park and just over the Thames from the bars and restaurants of Chelsea. To the left of the entrance hallway is a black-and-white-tiled bathroom, and the bedroom (to the right) is scenic and clean lined. The king-size bed is crowned with a tapestry, a contemporary chest of drawers hides the TV, and the balcony garden (through a pair of sliding glass doors) is dotted with potted plants and bordered by a peaceful pond. The balcony leads round to the sitting room on the left, which can also be reached via the hallway. Gallery-white walls are lined with worldly works of art, but the landscape above the sofa is a little more local—it was painted by the host. To the left, two Eames-style chairs accompany a round marble dining table, while the open-plan kitchen has white cabinets, a black splashback and another exotic rug. ----- Travel Keys is an elite travel broker representing an enticing collection of 7000 personally inspected luxury villas throughout more than 75 destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States.
