Upstairs master bedroom available in a two-story 2 bed, 2 bathroom condo. The rent is $1167/mo with a $400 deposit. Room is available mid February (Will be prorated based on move in/out day, the $400 deposit is due to the sublet, and is until May 1st. If you decide to sign a lease, the terms of that security deposit will be decided then).
Initially, this will be a sublet until April 30th, but upon good renter status, there's an option for a 12-month, or 6-month lease in May. The current tenant (female) is interested in extending the lease indefinitely.
I have a baby on the way, which is why I am moving out.
The room is large (about 12'x12') and has a mirrored double-wide closet with plenty of storage. Room was able to comfortably fit a Cal King, large desk, dresser, and file cabinet with space to spare. Tile floor for easy cleaning. (Pictures of the current setup will be added, the pictures at this moment are from the previous tenant).
There is a full bathroom connected to the room.
My roommate's bedroom and bathroom is downstairs, so you have the privacy and the upstairs bathroom all to yourself.
The place is small-dog friendly (under 30 pounds, with HOA approval), with an additional $250 deposit.
One parking spot comes with the unit and is shared with other roommate. Street parking is typically easy to find. There is an attached single car garage with some space available for storage.
The owner of the condo is very proactive if anything should go wrong (there have been a couple of leaks and appliances that needed to be replaced, and it was dealt with immediately) . I have nothing but good things to say about her.
I am generally free to show the place anytime after 3:30PM on weekdays, and most anytime on weekends.
Complex is gated and close to the 15 and 8 freeways, with easy access to Mission Valley. 2 minute walk to Copley-Price YMCA, 5 minutes to SDSU, 10 minutes to downtown. 25+ year old professional preferred, male or female. Credit check required.
