This home is located on the beautiful west end of Galveston Island in the popular Sea Isle subdivision. There are no huge hotels or condominiums swallowing up the beach. The area is quiet and relaxing. It is only a few minutes to San Luis Pass and about twenty-five minutes to the sites in Galveston. Relax with your family in a bright, completely updated canal house with fenced yard. The kitchen is well equipped for the cook in the family. Also upstairs are a living room, dining room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and washer and dryer. There is seating for six at the table with additional seating for two at the island. One bedroom with an ensuite half bath are located downstairs. The master bedroom has an adjustable king bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom has a twin bed and a set of twin bunkbeds with a bathroom across the hall. The downstairs bedroom has an XL twin over a queen bunkbed with an ensuite half bath. The house is equipped with Direct tv, wifi, Netflix, central AC and heat, microwave, dishwasher , and coffee maker. The kitchen is stocked with essentials such as spices, cooking oils, coffee filters, coffee, etc. Several board games, card games and dominoes are available. There is an upstairs deck for sunning and relaxing. Downstairs has plenty of room to spread out with hammock chairs, additional seating and a gas grill. There are two kayaks available for use. Life vests are provided. Several floats are available and there is a pump for inflating them. The cabana shower lets you clean up downstairs after playing at the beach. Fish from the dock or use the crab traps. The house is located on the second canal from the bay. Private Sea Isle beach access is only minutes away. Golf cart rental is nearby. Rental of the house includes access to all amenities within Sea Isle including a neighborhood pool (pool pass required), tennis courts, playground, fishing pier, marina and boat launch. The neighborhood marina has fuel and bait available. A small store is present at the marina with essentials. A larger private grocery store (Seven Seas) is located less than ten minutes away. The West End Restaurant, located in the marina area, provides a more upscale menu while the Sand Bar downstairs serves, burgers, fried seafood and drinks of all kinds. Friday night is karaoke night at the Sand Bar. Additional restaurants are located along the way heading back into Galveston. Galveston has numerous historic sites, shopping and entertainment venues to explore.
