Large family home near Shrewsbury and Telford. We live in a 4 bedhouse in the village of Astley approximatley 5 miles north of Shrewsbury Town Centre, which is a vibrant little town steeped in history with beautiful buildings a great selection of high street shops, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. We have 2 grown up children who have just moved out into their own homes but they live nearby. I have hosted foreign students in the past from Germany,Spain,Italy and Russia. I work for the NHS on a part time basis at the moment and have done for the past 18 years. We have 3 cosy rooms available with king size, or double beds, we are able to accommodate friends who wish to stay together, a shared private bathroom for guests only. A large kitchen diner and a TV room/study. We have a large garden with BBQ area and we have unspoilt views of the countryside. We do not have any pets at home however our daughters have Dogs who visit. We are a warm, friendly and inviting family. A real home from home where guests can feel welcome relaxed and comfortable. We also have a lovely local in our village serving home cooked meals and traditional ales. And a Starbucks less than 1 minute away on route into Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury Town centre is 5-10 minutes + depending on traffic. There are 3 major roads into the town from Astley and we are on the doorstep of the M54 Telford, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. Also the A49 Manchester and A5 Wales routes.
