This is a fully furnished one bedroom apartment located down the quiet end of the main street of Albury (Dean Street), opposite the Botanic Gardens, only a short walk to restaurants, swimming pool, Commercial Club, shopping centres etc. WEEKLY AND MONTHLY DISCOUNTS FOR LONGER STAYS. The Unit contains one Double Bed in the bedroom. This unit also has a BONUS couch/fold out bed in the lounge room. (suitable for a child) Please enquire about linen at an EXTRA COST if required. The unit has Free Wi-Fi, please enquire, The unit has a Full Galley kitchen with Full size stove and refrigerator. The Full Size bathroom has both a bath and shower. It has a HD TV and DVD Player. Heating/cooling--- there is a reverse cycle air conditioner with remote for heating & cooling, please read the instructions in the compendium. When using the heating function, it is better to set the temperature at about 21 to 24 degrees because the unit will continue to heat & not freeze and then stop heating to thaw. This is just how they function; freezing is not an A/C unit malfunction. When using the COOLING Function, set the temperature to 22 to 25 Degrees Ceiling fans with remotes in both the lounge room and bedroom. This apartment is located at ground level. Parking is either on-street or, off street, Please inquire about parking, Laundry facilities are shared with a modern washing machine and 2 clothes lines at the rear of the premises. Energy - please turn lights, heating/cooling off when you are not at the premises. The Fan remotes also operate the lights in both the lounge room and bedroom. Please leave the power switch on, and operate the light with the Fan remote only, Bathroom – Please use the anti-slip mats provided in the bathroom. Laundry – The laundry is located at the rear of the block of units. Washing machine is cold wash only. (INSTRUCTION MANUAL IS ATTACHED TO LAUNDRY WALL). The 2 Clothes lines are located outside the laundry door. The only Clothes dryer is 2 X outside clothes lines, and a Clothes Rack in the unit to hang clothes indoors. Parking is generally on the street only; there is no time limit to park on the street. There is a heavier demand for parking between 10.00am & 4.00pm, but before & after that it is generally easy to get a park right outside the unit block. If this does not suit, please call to arrange parking, at the car park at the rear of the building. Rubbish – The rubbish bins are located at the rear of the premises, through the laundry. Monday night is rubbish bin night for removal early Tuesday morning. The rubbish bins are put out and bought in by the cleaner. RED LID ---------is for general Waste YELLOW LID --- is for recycle only GREEN LID ----- is for organic material only, please only use the correct biodegradable kitchen caddy liners. Definitely, no shopping bags or other non-biodegradable bags to be used. Windows- Please ensure the windows are unclipped, (unlocked) before attempting to use the winding mechanism or the lever mechanism to open or fully close (lock) the windows. Not unlocking the windows and using the winders does seem to destroy the winder mechanism, which is a very expensive and time consuming to repair. Extra info about appliances is generally in the bottom draw in the kitchen. Some spares can also be found here globes etc.
