Imagine your family enjoying this quiet secluded paradise, home of the Gold Coast WATER TEMPLE Nestled on the sandy shores of Pine Lake... a quiet, secluded, pristine tidal estuary just off Currumbin Creek on the southern end of Queensland's famous Gold Coast. LOCATION * Just 10 minutes drive from Gold Coast International airport. Varsity Lakes rail station is 10 minutes away with connection to Brisbane Airport Public transport is in walking distance *SHOPPING Pine Lake shopping centre is 5 minutes away and Burleigh's retro James Street just a 10 minute drive. Pacific Fair and Robina shopping centres are both 20 minutes drive *SURFING The famous Currumbin Alley and Burleigh Point are just 5 - 10 minutes drive along with Palm Beach, Currumbin Creek and Tallebudgera Creek for more watersports. *DINING Trendy cafes, restaurants and bars are all located within minutes @ Palm Beach, Currumbin and Burleigh Heads. THE PROPERTY With clear blue water so close to your lounge, dining and master bedroom it feels as though you are on a luxury boat. Enjoy the still early morning rosy sunrise as you sip your first cuppa of the day Imagine yourself and your family fishing from your verandah, kayaking, swimming or Stand Up Paddle boarding straight off the lawn or sandy beach. As the sun goes down for the day enjoy late afternoon 'sundowner' drinks as the skies and water turn from fiery oranges and pinks to shades of purple and indigo Then as evening falls be bewitched by the sparkling diamonds of the night time lights reflected on the water, with the soft glow of the lights of Palm Beach filtering through the pine trees on the other side of the lake.... time for a BBQ then as you ease into the night... hmmm Absolutely BLISS... THE PROPERTY FEATURES This lovely 'French Provincial style ' home has recently been renovated by a well known Interior Designer to provide a high level of comfort and luxury. The lounge area features large comfy sofas, views over the lake and direct access to the many outdoor entertaining areas (there is of course a tv, dvd, stereo) The kitchen features white stone benchtops, extra wide induction cooktop and a wide oven, dishwasher and a two door frig - freezer which has an icemaker, There is also a large butlers pantry with loads of storage, tea / coffee making facilities and another two door frig / freezer. The master suite is large with a super comfy queen bed and luxury linens, loads of cupboards and features stunning views over the lake. The private ensuite has an extra large shower recess with a traditional mounted shower and also a rainshower, the vanity is French style with a white stone console , the French doors open onto your private courtyard with a fabulous outdoor rainshower. Bedroom two is quietly located off the hallway and also has a very comfy queen bed and built in robes Bedroom three is smaller and features a king single bed and built in robes, this light airy room overlooks the secluded outdoor courtyard Bedroom four could also be classed as a studio or kids bunkroom - games room, depends how your family group would like to utilise this space. There are two single beds and another two king single beds which can be joined to form a king bed ( sleeps up to 4 guests in very comfortable beds ) There are also tea / coffee making facilities, a refrigerator and television and various games and books are supplied for your enjoyment The main bathroom has a toilet and a shower which features both a traditional mounted shower and overhead rainshower. The vanity has a black stone benchtop and is topped with an ornate French mirror The bath tub is large and luxurious. There are various outdoor entertaining, dining and relaxing areas with large comfy outdoor seating for your enjoyment, there are also two BBQ areas The property is fully fenced from the street front and from adjoining neighbours however at this point I must mention that there are NO FENCES ON THE LAKEFRONT therefore I really wouldn't recommend the property for anyone with small children. Which brings us to the subject of OUR GUESTS Please don't be offended however I must point out that this is a very quiet location in a small cul de sac. This is my private home which I am pleased to make available to a select few guests from January - April 2018, so includes the time that the Gold Coast hosts the Commonwealth Games. During the Commonwealth Games the Cycling Time Trial will take place in this area on 10th April and the Cycling Road Race will be conducted in this area on the 14th April therefore the cu de sac will be closed off for a short period on both of those days. OUR NEIGHBOURS Most residents have lived here for quite a few years and cherish their quiet neighbourhood so this is not the place for you to stay if you wish to party or have loud music or loud noise that goes on into the night. The property is NOT available for bucks parties, wild weekends, schoolies. Our ideal guests are those who are small family groups, the property is ideal for a romantic getaway for a couple or a small group of friends who want to have a lovely private quite luxurious place to stay whilst enjoying their vacation at the Gold Coast. We do have an on call 24 hour security service and if guests are noisy or disruptive to the neighbourhood will be asked to leave immediately.
