So much to see and do! The 3 bedroom cottage is very bright, carpet free, professionally cleaned between each guest and spacious with room for 6 people. Internet with WIFI is provided as well as all towels, sheets, blankets and pillows, so no need to pack more than your own personal things. A supply of free firewood is made available to each guest for the backyard fire pit. More can be purchased locally if needed. The backyard has it's own forest over 75 foot soaring pines as well as a fire pit surrounded by interlocking brick. The front yard is large and private with a hammock and badminton net for badminton or volleyball (equipment provided) in the warm seasons. A short 4 minute walk to the sandy shores of Lake Huron where you can walk for miles. The public beach is not very busy even during the busy season and has volley ball nets, washrooms, ice cream and pizza. Lots of hiking and biking trails. Two bikes provided for your use. Less than 1 minute walk to a park where there are tennis courts, basketball hoop, swings and other playground equipment. Historic lighthouse with tours is found at the Point Clark main public beach. A family style restaurant with delicious meals is a 2 min walk away. Top quality golf courses within a 15 minute drive. Go carts and mini golf 15 min drive away. WELL BEHAVED PETS ARE ACCEPTED WITH PRIOR APPROVAL. In the town of Kincardine, 15 minute drive north of Point Clark there are many events: Every Wednesday (July & August) Music in the Park at 7:30pm at Dunsmoor Park Every Friday (June-August) Co-ed Volleyball, 7pm Station Beach Every Saturday (May 21- Oct 8) Farmers Market 9am to noon at Connaught Park Pavilion (end of Broadway Street) Every Saturday (June 25-Sept 3) Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band Parade starting from Victoria Park at 8pm north on Queen St to Quinn Plaza tun back to the park for a concert. Every Sunday (July & August) Sing-a-longs at 7:30pm at Dunsmoor Park (bottom of Lambton Street)Minimum stay from September to May is 2 nights. Minimum stay in June, July and August is one week.A lovely very private cottage situated amongst huge pine and maple trees, forest in the backyard. Large front yard for playing badminton or volleyball. Only a 4 minute walk to the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Huron where you can walk for miles.
