Poise and polish
Maddox Street II, located just off Regent Street, is every bit as refined as Mayfair itself. Inside, up on the third floor (accessible by lift), the open-plan living area is immediately on the right. First up is the kitchen – a run of glossy white cabinets. A little way across from that is a square dining table for four, and then in the far corner, over by the three sash windows, there’s a sitting area. It has a plump-cushioned sofa (above which hang two bold Pop Art portraits), a silky rug and a coffee table, plus, opposite them, a flatscreen television.
Back out in the hallway, the bathroom is on the left (it’s tiled in pale-grey marble, and has a bath and a separate shower). Then the last door leads through to the master bedroom. This room has a pared-back palette, with a sumptuous Klimt print above the superking-size bed.
