Chill out zone
Step into this two bedroom, two bathroom beauty and get ready to ‘wow’. This ultra high-end pad is the epitome of cutting edge contemporary taste with spot-lit ceilings and sharp lines throughout. It also happens to make its home in one of London’s most sought-after areas, bordering Bayswater and Notting Hill. So wander the incomparable garden squares at the west end of Ladbroke Grove, or mooch down to Kensington Palace for a spot of sight-seeing before indulging in dinner in one of the many cafes on your doorstep. Once you’re sure of your surroundings, settle down at Hereford Road II for a glass of wine on the private balcony.
Your host is a young Iranian entrepreneur whose successful electronic publishing company sees him regularly travelling the world, and his beautiful London home is full of tokens of his wanderlust. When he’s not dashing off to his office in India he’s using the fruits of his industry to support humanitarian projects.
Calm and collected
The enormous open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen is decked out with flawless wooden floorboards, and the white walls let the high end furniture really shine. Recline full length on the massive L-shaped sofa, or make a fresh espresso in the sleek kitchen and relax at the bench-lined dining table. A plush, Iranian rug splashes the space with colour and lends it a luxurious lilt. With your whistle suitably whetted, pad through to the first double bedroom, where crisp linen covers a sofa-bed and spotlights ooze atmosphere.
Here, perch on the swivel chair and admire the black and white family portraits which adorn the walls, and the hints of green which pour in through the window and balcony doors. A spa style ensuite sits adjacent. Over in the master bedroom, a king-sized bed, super-lux ensuite and floral flourishes render it the perfect enclave for escapism.
