A royal appointment
This terraced home, close to Kensington Palace, is quietly traditional. A staircase greets you on the inside, and at the top and on the right is the dining room. Six rattan chairs sit around the wooden table, and there’s a working fireplace flanked by framed sketches. The sitting room, on the left, has a large bay window and bold artwork, and on the right you’ll find neutral cabinets and a granite-topped breakfast bar in the kitchen.
At the end of the hallway is the second bathroom, and heading up the next staircase (past a rather tasteful collection of patterned prints), you’ll see the third bedroom’s single bed straight ahead. To the right, there’s a powder-blue sofa and super king bed in the master, and right again is the second bedroom, which has pastel colours and a row of botanical sketches above a pair of button-backed single beds. The main bathroom, with its marbled grey tiling, looks across to the stuccoed houses opposite.
