Lovely sunny queen size room - suit mature quiet couples. ARRIVAL & FINAL DEPARTURES DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY PLEASE. Check in time is from 2pm and departure 10am. YOUR SPACE: Large queen size room with an adjoining room available for your luggage no charge. You will have your own lounge with leather recliner chairs. Spacious bathroom, free wifi, TV, & balcony with table & chairs overlooking a tranquil park - Tea & Coffee making facilities in your lounge (ground coffee) with a small fridge to keep your drinks and milk in – BREAKFAST PROVIDED A Continental breakfast provided to have at your leisure in your private lounge area, or out on your balcony in the sun. A 2 night consecutive minimum stay with booking is required. Our pets are quiet and only in our private part of the home at all times. Enjoy your lovely fresh breakfast with tea or perc. coffee- you wont want to leave. Your own large private bathroom with shower and bath. Suit quiet, professional people, couples, also a single large room available if you have a child - children over 16 please. OUR AREA: *** In a leafy tree lined quiet beautiful cul de sac in Harewood. Our street won 1st place for nicest street in Christchurch city it is private, safe and peaceful here.. We are 15 min. walk to local restaurants Thai etc.), large mall, cinema, heated swimming pool. 15 minutes by vehicle or bus to the city. *Room has fresh flowers, bedside lamps, bedside cabinets, chest of draws and a wardrobe, heating & electric blankets and a fan in summer, opening windows and blinds and a large adjoining room for your luggage. *Private bathroom with bath and shower with high pressure water system with luxury shower accessories with shampoo/conditioner, toilet tissues, soap, face cloths and bath towels provided. Guest bedroom is upstairs. Plenty of safe off street parking next to the home. I am not available for airport pick up or drop off - day light hours for check in from 2pm and departures required by 10am . The home is only 2 min. walk from bus stop to city. Breakfast is included – continental style . I provide tea, coffee, bread, cereal, fruit salad, yoghurt, bran, museli, milk and soy milk on request, plus all the, jam and honey you can handle. (porridge also on request). My personal kitchen is not available for use by guests. No other people are allowed to be brought into our home. Upstairs you will have access to your bedroom, private lounge with balcony with a table & chairs on and your private bathroom with adjoining room for your luggage. I am available for any assistance as I work from home in my office. OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD: *** Very quiet tree lined street with modern contemporary style housing with safe car parking onsite. I have a lovely park adjoining the home which has seating for a peaceful rest. There is a large Shopping Mall approx. 15 minutes walk from the home and a large heated swimming pool opposite the shopping mall. There are a few different restaurants within 15 minutes walk from the home with all types of cuisine available. Bus stop is 2 minutes from the home. City or airport is 15 minutes 6kms by public transport or car. Rental car agencies are available at the airport. Well behaved pets are kept in the private area of the home at all times. You are welcome to accompany me on our walk around our local area with our toy dog Lucie I go in the morning and afternoon. I respect your privacy. I am friendly and helpful and if I can assist with information of Christchurch and local areas of interest while visiting the city. Tourist brochures are available in your lounge. Video call available on Homestay site so we can chat prior if you would like. GETTING HERE AND AROUND CHRISTCHURCH: The home is only 2 minutes from a bus stop which goes to the central city with stops along the way - approximately 20 minutes to the CBD and I am 12 minutes from the airport by taxi 6 kms, fare approx. $25 - $30 depending on which company you use. The home is on the right side of the driveway. *** Arrivals and departures day light hours please. - Arrivals from 2pm. Check out 10am. As this is a private home we would be grateful if you could provide some information about yourselves when you make an enquiry for a booking. No other people are allowed to be brought into our home.
