Ngakuta is a very popular bay in the Queen Charlotte Sounds situated only 15 minutes drive from Picton and 20 minutes from Havelock.
The house is directly located on the Link-Pathway with beautiful scenic walks and mountain bike tracks nearby. The annual Forrest GrapeRide cycle race passes by the front of the property.
There is a community jetty and boat ramp in the bay, as well as a designated water ski take off area.
Kayak tours leave regularly from Ngakuta Bay and there is a Water-Taxi service to Picton. The eco lodge at Lochmara is a short 10 min boat ride away.
The house is a much loved kiwi bach, fully renovated with the comforts of modern day living. It has 3 bedrooms and an additional sleepout which is available on request. It is private, surrounded by trees, and has stunning views from the deck, living area and main bedroom,
The property is fully fenced, safe for children and only steps away from the foreshore. There is a great undercover outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ. The trampoline can be used by children.
There is a mooring for a 6m boat available on request, and a single kayak.
Full linen is provided. Please bring your own beach towels and bottled water for drinking,
It is a lovely, well cared for home. Please respect it and leave it tidy.
Please take all rubbish with you.
Please only use the firewood provided for the log burner.
No tents or campervans allowed on the property.
No cleaning of cars/boats on property.
Please take shoes off when inside.
