Use this comfortable unit as a base to explore the Bay of Islands. Day and half-day cruises depart from Russell Wharf. Go sailing, para-gliding, fishing and dolphin-watching, or walk or cycle along the attractive trails on both sides of the Bay. Visit the Russell Museum for interesting historic background, Pompallier House (early French Mission), Christ Church (one of the first in NZ). A visit to the Waitangi Treaty House and its attractive grounds is a must. A golf course is nearby and open to visitors. Drive out to Rawhiti, and on around the coast to some of the beautiful beaches for a picnic. Enjoy the local restaurants, bars and cafes, or just relax and unwind in the garden at your holiday apartment.

The four apartments in this complex were formerly the Post Office holiday flats. Unit 2, at the rear, has a comfortable sofa bed and chairs, a well-equipped kitchen, queen-sized bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the other bedroom, both with good-sized wardrobes for storage. The bathroom-laundry includes toilet, shower and vanity, washing machine and washtub. The back garden has a BBQ and table with views down to Matauwhi Bay.
