The holiday house is at the northern end of Whangapoua Beach (end closest to New Chums) so it is a 30 minute walk at low tide to New Chums or you can play golf at Matarangi, a 15 minute drive away.
Whangapoua Store is well-stocked for supplies and meat can be ordered from the roving butcher in summer.
