SUMMARY - NOTES - FEES
This charming well over 100-year-old building was fully renovated in early 2018. We made the most of every inch of this 1400 square foot space by putting in 4 full en-suites (3 have showers with spa jets), equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. A rooftop terrace is planned for summer 2018 (date TBA and pending city permits). With parking less than 5 min away starting at only $15 per night, and the metro (subway) also at less than 5 min walk, this is the best location for a family vacation or a business trip.
The plan you see as a photo is accurate in terms of the number of bedrooms (4), bathrooms (4) and location. All beds are queen size to accommodate 8 guests total with the possibility of the 4th bed being king size (TBA). There is 1 daybed (twin size) to accommodate 1 more guests (adult or child) and 1 double sofa-bed for an additional 2 guests. Le Plateau Mont-Royal is the most popular place to stay in Montreal (as well as the Downtown and Old Town burrows which are adjacent). Le Plateau Mont-Royal is the place where you will find the most shops and cafés. There are tons of interesting "mom and pop" stores as well as your classics like Subway and Starbucks. Liquor stores and grocery stores are also right around the corner.
From the apartment, you will be able to reach Le Metro Sherbrooke within less than 5 min walk. This is one of the major subway "hub" in the city. Taking the subway (or as the locals call it "metro") is the easiest and cheapest way to get around Montreal to avoid traffic and parking tickets.
Taxis are easily found in Montreal. In the apartment, you will find all the info you need to order a taxi. There is a phone you can use to do so.
Parking is tricky everywhere in the city. The signs are very confusing, even for the locals and people who have lived here for years. These signs are also in French so the best thing to do is to park in one of the long-term areas ($12 to $15 per day) located within walking distance from our building and to leave the car there for your entire stay. We will provide this info for you. Since you can take the subway, taxi or walk everywhere, there is no need for your car unless it is really cold outside...
