Minimum two night booking period Fresh Linen and towels, pillows, doonas, etc are provided and beds are made for your arrival so you can really relax and settle in with no need to bring bedding from home - we do it all for you! The Bellarine Peninsula and Serenity Lodge have a lot to offer - both families and singles will enjoy this location being only 100 metres from a lovely safe beach. Close by are some fantastic wineries with beautiful views, restaurants, the awesome ever expanding Adventure Park water themed park and the newly opened Flying Brick Cidery in Wallington. Not to mention close by surf beaches at Pt Lonsdale and Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads - all only a half hour drive or so away. Split system heating and cooling has now been added to Serenity Lodge and the house newly refurbished with carpeted bedrooms, new beds, mattresses, linen and doonas. Lovely retractable/sliding doors on both the upstairs bedrooms and the kitchen / lounge / dining area now open to let in the sea breeze. There are water views from the upstairs balcony where you can watch the birdlife (you will be amazed at how many species you will see in the backyard alone), the ships pass by in the distance or the kids playing in the backyard below. All queen beds are new pillow-top ensembles and there is a sofa bed in the downstairs living area for a maximum of 8 adults or alternatively, 4 adults and up to 6 children. There are two bathrooms, two toilets, two living areas - one upstairs and one down. Both living areas have lcd tvs / video/dvd players. The house is well suited for two families and is not suited to "schoolies". PLEASE NOTE the property no longer caters for more than 8 adults and we do not allow pets. On the deck there is plenty of seating at the two large tables and a large icebox for those cold drinks. A lovely wood fire warms the house in winter with gas heating as well and split system heating/cooling. There's plenty to do in St Leonards and the native Pt Edwards nature walk is close by. The St Leonards yacht club is a short walk away with lovely views and you can stop there for a drink or two. Bedding configuration: bedroom 1 - queen size bed bedroom 2 - queen size bed bedroom 3 - queen size bed and 2 single beds Downstairs living - queen sofa bed There's plenty to keep the children amused - toys, books, dvds / videos and more. For the adults there is a book library and plenty of dvd movies and board games and enough space to get away from the kids if you so desire. St. Leonards is close to everything you need; safe beaches and only a half hour drive to Geelong. **A daily ferry service from the nearby town of Portarlington has been added which transports travellers between Portarlington and Docklands in Melbourne city** As our welcome gift you will receive a complimentary box of chocolates and bottle of wine when you arrive. The house has everything you will need to enjoy a great weekend or longer away.
