Stay awhile in Port Pirie and enjoy everything the local area and surrounds have to offer. In the evenings, relax on the deck On the edge of the desert and the Southern Flinders Ranges. The Wet Lizard is a stylish 2 bedroom home with modern facilities and quality furniture. It accommodates up to 5 people with a queen bed in the main bedroom, and 2 king single beds and a single bed in the other. The facilities include: Reverse cycle air conditioner Ceiling fans Large flat screen TV in lounge Wall mounted TV in main bedroom Modern furniture and decor Outdoor private entertainment deck with water features and tidal ponds (ponds fill only when timer button is pressed) Outback style BBQ area Kitchen with full cooking facilities including Gas oven and cooktop, fridge, and microwave oven Laundry WiFi packages available from $10/GB The Wet Lizard has a maximum capacity of 5 people including all guests and visitors. We do have a strict "No Parties" policy Sorry, no pets allowed No smoking inside At the end of the day you can sit on the deck to hear the crickets and see the swallows celebrating the day. And, of course, there is the occasional wet lizard (small skink). THERE IS PLENTY TO DO IN AND AROUND PORT PIRIE a 4 minute drive to The Regional Art Gallery and Tourist Centre. 5 mins to Keith Michelle Theatre. 5 mins to the Bridge To Nowhere. Go across and experience for yourself how it has earned its name. 6 mins to The Smelters Tour 6 mins to the Producers Market held on the 2nd Sunday of each month. 1 hour to Melrose and Mount Remarkable 30 mins to Port Germein, with it's historic jetty built in 1881 with a length of 1676 metres. There is also a great Art Gallery. 20 mins to Port Flinders with restricted access due to tidal conditions. Just over an hours drive to Port Augusta with the Wadlata Outback Centre, and more. ENJOY PORT PIRIE AND SURROUNDS AND COME BACK HOME TO THE WET LIZARD. The weather here is something else again. It is sort of sub-tropical (the palm trees love it) with occasional breezes with a hint of the outback. The Wet Lizard is a modernised home which formed part of the original farm house of the Williams family. As the town grew the farm land was developed into what is now an inner area of the Port Pirie township. Please note: We have made the Tidal Ponds as safe as we can, however, adult supervision of children is always required around water. Cancellation Policy: All money paid, other than the bond, is forfeited unless we are able to relet the dates. If the dates are relet, then only a $100 admin fee will be charged. If partly relet then the amount paid will be proportionately refunded less the $100 admin fee. If you need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible. The more time we have, the better chance of reletting.Payments made through Stayz online bookings are subject to Stayz cancellation policy.
